The McDaniel family story is one of prayer, longing, joy beyond words, life struggles & hardships, but above all, a testament to their unwavering faith in God.

Anyone who knows the McDaniel family knows their family was not complete until they were blessed with their daughter Abigail (Abbey). For years, the McDaniels prayed, planned, and searched for their daughter. God was faithful and blessed them through adoption, and Russ & Tonya finally brought their daughter home. Their family was finally complete.

Abigail brought untold joy to the McDaniel family. Personally, I have seen the joy in Russ’s eyes talking about his beloved daughter, as he was always overjoyed to update co-workers on her accomplishments.

Over the years, the McDaniels have suffered many hardships: vehicle accidents, family loss, and illness. Through it all, they have always remained strong in their faith and pushed through no matter how tough things were.

But the McDaniels are now facing their greatest challenge yet: the loss of their beautiful daughter Abigail through a rare and short-lived hereditary illness.

The McDaniels will never ask anyone for anything, but in this time of sorrow and grief, if you are willing, please consider lightening their burden by contributing toward this fund.
