The McAllister Family

We all have a few people in our lifetime, who simply change the way we feel, and in turn, make us feel better about life. Marie McAllister was one of those people, not just to me, but to each and every person who was lucky enough to have known her.

This fundraiser is for the McAllister Family, to lessen the financial hardships that are ahead with both medical and continuing monthly bills. Marie battled cancer for several years and with vigor! Her optimism and spunky personality were so refreshing, she always found a reason to laugh or make a joke. Marie was the truest example of an amazing human being!

Marie loved her son, Matthew, more than words can express. Matthew was her everything and she made sure that she was always involved with each and every activity he participated in. She loved her title of "Team Mom" where she was always involved with each of the young men that played football or lacrosse with Matthew. She believed in community and helping others and dedicated most of her personal time to making the team, like her family.

Marie worked for several companies over the years and carried this same mentality of team and family, with all of her coworkers. Marie always found a way to help others see the glass was half full and lighten the mood on the longest days. Her character remained true, even at the most difficult times and she took pride in her reputation with the companies she supported.

A celebration of life event will be held for friends & family to remember and share our stories made with Marie. The family asks that you bring a smile and your best content. Marie would expect us all to find a reason to laugh and reminisce about the good old days. To Marie, the amazing woman we all love so much!!
