The Mayor of Divisadero Needs Our Help

Dear Friends of Curtis "CB" Bryant "The Mayor of Divisadero",
On September 21st, our iconic friend had a bad fall. This has resulted in a hematoma on his brain and at this time he is unable to walk or care for himself in any capacity. He is currently at a Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation Center in San Francisco.
To add to the devastating news, Curtis's insurance has decided that they will no longer cover expenses for the rehabilitation center. He is being asked to leave this weekend. Team CB has appealed this and won't know the outcome until Friday October 16th. This is an URGENT situation, regardless of the appeal being approved, it is still only a matter of days before his stay is terminated. Then they will no longer cover any of the expenses for the 24 hour a day skilled care and rehabilitation team he absolutely requires.
Doing everything we can right now to advocate and make sure he is provided with the care he needs. Researching all options, costs for this care is ASTRONOMICAL. This will be a long road to recovery, but absolutely believe that he can fully recover.
Very happy to report that CB's cognitive skills and physical abilities are getting better! His care team is reporting great strides this week. The work The Mayor needs to do is difficult but he never turns away the opportunity to strive to get better.
This man has touched so many lives of San Franciscans and others far and wide. He has always been a good friend to ANYONE he knows and needs every friend at this pivotal time.
Every single penny will be used for ESSENTIAL services and medical costs to get this icon back up and running. We firmly believe that he can recover, given the opportunity, team and tools. He's very much "In It to Win It" and "graduate" to living independently again.
If you know The Mayor of Divisadero, there is no question that you love him, and will never meet anyone else of his caliber. If you've only seen him in passing, it was obvious that this guy is one-of-a-kind and brought you a big smile.
Asking our community to come together to give The Mayor a "shot at the title". ANY financial contribution is more than greatly appreciated. So if you have any "act right money" no better way to spend it.
