On August 14, 2021 Matthew Joseph Lopez passed away from complications due to COVID. The Lopez family has since received such a beautiful abundance of love and support from friends and family as well as numerous inquires on how they can help at this time. Donations of food and non-alcoholic drinks for the reception would be greatly appreciated and honestly your presence celebrating his life and honoring his memory would be the greatest gift of all. Of course we understand if you are not able to attend or if it would be easier to help in a monetary way, if so please feel free to use this page. All money collected will be used to cover costs for the memorial. Services are open to all friends and family and will be held Friday afternoon, August 27th at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park - 9101 Kern Canyon Rd, Bakersfield CA 93306. A reception will follow with doors opening at 2:30 PM at the Iron Lily Venue - 424 24th St, Bakersfield CA 93301. For those that are far away there will be a way to view the  service, I will post the information as soon as I have it.
