On Saturday the 20th of December 2025, Coventry Rugby and Nottingham Rugby Champ Rugby fixture will form the first iteration of the Matt Gallagher Cup, a fixture created to raise awareness of Matts journey and to support the foundation set up to help people living with Motor Neurone Disease across the West Midlands and beyond. Together we will come together to celebrate a player who gave everything to both teams and now inspires a bigger cause.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help the Foundation to continue their work for families suffering from MND!

The Foundation’s mission is to provide vital support such as mobility equipment, home adaptations and memorable family experiences. They are also currently funding an additional permanent NHS MND Nurse, as well as an admin Nurse for the region.
