On July 17th, 2020 the Massard Family experienced the nightmare that no one ever wants to watch happen. Suddenly their house caught fire, Mitch (Online marketing and sales) and Amanda (Special education teacher at Harrison Country schools) rushed to gather their daughters, 3 week old baby Lauryn, 2 year old Camryn, dogs Elsa and Oakley. Some how they all escaped the madness physically unscathed. However, in the chaos of scrambling to escape the inferno, their cat Wally did not have the same luck.
Mitch and Amanda have been happily married for 4 years. They started their family in that house, growing to a family of four with their pets. While they are physically unharmed they are still sorting through the rubble and emotional discomfort. It's not just the fire that burns through the home, it's the thousands of gallons of water used to ensure there isn't anything that can reignite, the dense toxic smoke and ash that coats everything rendering it useless. Everything from a car, to clothes , shoes, furniture, babies clothes, new born baby supplies, kids toys were destroyed. This doesn't even begin to cover the memories, pictures, collectables, awards, and the life accomplishments they had stored. Mitch and Amanda will use this money to help clothe their kids, feed them, ensure they're safe while they sort out what to do with their family home. We know things are difficult for all of us right now, however, even a spare $5, $15, or $25 will help ensure 3 week old Lauryn and 2 year old Camryn will be clothed and safe, and that they have the resources they will need. 100 % of all donations will go to the Massard Family to help them get back on their feet during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your generosity in helping this family! Please feel free to share to continue to help them.
