The Mask Task
Donation protected
Due to the spread of Covid-19, hospitals are facing a serious deficit of masks for their employees, and for patients with preexisting health conditions. These masks help save lives, and are critical for hospitals to possess.
My name is Kartik Arora, and I am a Life Scout in Troop 636. For my Eagle Scout project, I am going to mobilize our community resources for a mask making drive. These masks will be donated to Valley Medical Center, a public hospital in Renton.
My goal is 3,000 masks. I am raising this money to buy the materials for the masks. The materials will be distributed among the volunteers. I am simultaneously looking for volunteers to help sew the masks.
If you would like to help make masks after the materials have been procured, please fill out the following form. You will need a sewing machine.
Click Here to help me sew masks!
I will provide more information in an email to volunteers.
I need your help to ensure the safety of our healthcare workers. Every donation counts.
Healthcare providers are being put at risk, because the shortage of masks leaves too few for those who need them. This is an urgent situation and the masks need to be made in two weeks.
Please join me in protecting the health of those who are working hard to help us.
