Malibu Creek Docent Association (MCD) is fundraising for replacing the camo netting at the M*A*S*H site located in Malibu Creek State Park.

Malibu Creek State Park is considered the recreational crown jewel of the Santa Monica Mountains. It has over 8,200 acres of pristine open space visited by over 300,000 visitors annually from the surrounding area, the greater Los Angeles region, and from across the country and around the world. The Park offers dramatic jagged peaks, stunning canyon vistas, chaparral shrubs, coastal sage scrub, oak woodlands and valley oak savannahs, grasslands, a large volcanic swimming hole, world class hiking, biking, rock climbing, and much more for outdoor enthusiasts and families to enjoy. It has a rich human history, and its spectacular terrain has been seen all over the globe in movies, and TV, including the popular M*A*S*H TV series.

The M*A*S*H set is one of the popular spots at Malibu Creek State Park. The camo netting that provides shade on hot days for thousands of M*A*S*H fans visiting every year is in tatters.

Strong winds pushed through the set and destroyed this fragile netting, and it needs to be replaced. Malibu Creek Docents are asking for help from all the M*A*S*H fans out there to help us replace this camo netting by and keep the popular M*A*S*H TV series alive and help preserve the Parks rich history and ensure it is not forgotten with time.
