In honor of Mary Clearman Blew's 80th birthday--as well as her literary productivity and distinguished career as a mentor of writers--she and her family and friends are establishing an annual award in her name for undergraduate writers at the University of Idaho. 

Mary wants to recognize the best undergraduate submission of creative writing, in any genre, with a $500 cash prize awarded each spring, beginning in 2020.
