Rich's faith is what got our family through the last 11 months. When he was diagnosed in August of 2019, it didn't matter who told him that he had weeks-months to live. He would look at any doctor and tell them his God was bigger than their science. He believed this, so why wouldn't we? So, as a family we supported him and were 'all in'. During this, we spent our time doing what was necessary to make sure he had everything he needed. Countless appointments, daily trips to the pharmacy, weeks in the hospital, honestly I'd do it all over again. Rich and I made so many friends along the way, doctors and nurses, the people at the pharmacy, and we were truly touched by the constant prayers and many 'acts of kindness'.
One of the most important things that got me through the last 11 months, was learning to live day by day and to keep the 'what if's" tucked away. Well yesterday those 'what if's' became a reality when Rich left us to be with Our Lord. 
My Family needs your help. In addition to keeping us in your prayers, what we are asking is, in lieu of flowers would you please make a donation to help us with expenses. In the upcoming month or two, I will need to put our house on the market, pay funeral expenses and an entire basket of medical bills, and our two youngest girls will be leaving for college. With this being said, I will need to do all of this on a significantly reduced income.
