Help The Marine Merman (Beau Shepherd) Get Back on His Fins

Early last week, Beau (the Marine Merman) was involved in a freak accident while grilling with his family one evening, which caused both second and third degree burns across his lower body.

As of today (Aug 7th), he has been under care at TGH’s burn unit. He has undergone two skin graft surgeries and is under observation due to an infection in one wound that was found during the graft surgeries.

He is doing well and in high spirits, however, the hospital bills have already started to come in and Beau is facing a lengthy battle during recovery.

Once he is discharged from the hospital he will need weekly wound care and physical therapy for the foreseeable future. Funds raised will be put towards all medical costs associated with Beau’s recovery.
