Hi, my name is Jarris and I, along with others, are trying to help raise money for The Maples' as they continue to navigate the hardships of a cancer diagnosis. Gen was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in the spring of 2022. She has endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and extended hospitalizations over the past year and continues to receive treatment. During this time, Gen has been unable to work and her husband Dakota has only been able to take limited time off, whether that be paid or unpaid. With Dakota as Gen's primary caretaker and being a full-time RN, this has been difficult for the two of them to manage.

The pair are two of the most kind-hearted and genuine couples we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. On behalf of the Maples', we are asking for any amount of donations at this time to help cover medical expenses, meals, and household bills. Dakota is not usually one to ask for help and has tried to do far too much on his own up to this point. Any help extended to him and Gen would be more than appreciated and gratefully received.
