The Man's Army Team is asking for help getting in the Black!
This was our first project on Playa and the fundraising effort had to take a back seat to actually figuring out how to make the piece and safely burn it. Thousands of pounds of steel and wax add up pretty fast.
We are grateful for all the help we received in the lead up to the project but we did have to spend a lot of personal money(credit cards...) to finish.
As the creative director I personally accept having to spend some of my own money to complete the project but there are some core team members who not only gave countless hours of there time but also had to use there personal funds. The hope of this fundraiser is to get them paid back.
Why I think this is worthy of your money? If you were there and enjoyed the piece through the week or the epic burn you would be directly helping the community of people that created it. By doing this you are in collaboration with that community on this project and also send us the message that you would like to continue that collaboration and help us strive to bring more work like this to the playa.
