My father in law was found unconscious at his home on May 17th 2018. He was rushed to the hospital to find out he suffered a stroke and severe bleeding. His basal ganglia, left frontal, temporal, and parietal lobes are extremely affected. Unfortunately he is not a candidate for surgery and was given a 5% chance to be able to get through the next 72 hours. It's been 48 hrs...his condition has not worsen nor improved but he opened his eyes today and is moving the best he can. Regardless of what medicine says we as a family feel like he is communicating with us and is fighting to live and get better. If our father wants to fight so will we! Regardless of how extensive his care may be, regardless of what can happen we have faith and are there for you Dad. My father in law is the hardest working man I know. He has worked very hard to provide for his family his whole life. There is nothing impossible for him, he doesn't know how to give up. So now, we are working hard to be there just the way he was there for us. We are raising money to help cover the costly medical bills that are accumulating. If he is able to survive the next couple of days he will spend sometime in a skilled nursing home and hopefully down the road be home. Any help is greatly appreciated. God bless!
