Throughout our shared human history, we have been able to overcome adversity by coming together as a family and a community. Although the current events demand that we physically separate, it cannot stop us from uniting in spirit.
For the sake of safety of our community and teams, we had to make a difficult decision to temporarily close the Maker in Hudson, NY and limit service & offerings at Bartlett House Cafe in Ghent, NY
With that, we are asking you to please join us in supporting the incredible family of The Maker Cafe/Restaurant/Lounge and Bartlett House Cafe teams who are challenged with the loss of income during this health crisis. We are taking action to ensure that these amazing people, and their families, can continue to put food on the table during this unprecedented time.
100% of the funds donated will be divided equally towards our 45 hard working employees who are out of work: servers, hosts, baristas, bartenders, line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers.
At The Maker and Bartlett House restaurants we set a place at the table for you, now we are asking that you keep a place at the table for our family of employees.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
You can support The Maker & Bartlett House furloughed teams by donating to our GoFundMe campaign, which will ensure that our teams can endure the economic fallout of this pandemic. We realize that you may be going through hardships as well and truly appreciate any contribution.
We will divide the funds equally between the team members that were laid off from their jobs. The funds will be received by the organization's bank account and paid by checks to all the team members.
For those that make a donation you will receive a special invite to our re-opening party to celebrate the launch of our upcoming Hotel.
The first 25 people that make a donation over $100 will receive a private tour of the hotel.
