Michael, Kimberly and James Maerki (plus their two dogs and five rescue kittens) are recent victims of the horrific EF3 tornado that tore through North Clarksville on December 9th.

In search of a slower-paced life closer to friends and family, the Maerki's migrated to Middle Tennessee from Jupiter, Florida in February of 2021. The conveniences and charm of Clarksville made it the perfect place to plant roots.

Unsure of where to begin their homebuying journey, Mike and Kim found the Nashville Home Guru team at Compass RE, where agent Adam Spivey helped them find the perfect home at an amazing price. On an ideal lot in the newly developed West Creek Farms, the family knew this home was the one. As the Maerki forever home was deemed a Catastrophic Loss, funds collected will go towards insurance premiums, temporary housing, and an attempt to replace their belongings lost to Mother Nature. They also still hope to provide Christmas for their son, James, who turns 16 next month.
