UPDATE: The Madigan family is overwhelmed by the support being shown through your donations. Claire, Emily and John will use these funds to pay for funeral expenses. Anything additional will be used to set-up a Scholarship Fund in Memory of their sister Molly.
On May 6th 2021, the community of Garden City suffered an unimaginable loss. Joe, Gail and their 18-year old daughter Molly were all killed in a fire that ravaged their family home.
Gail was a fierce leader in the community who tirelessly volunteered her time for the good of everyone. Molly, a senior at Garden City High School, could sing like an angel and was headed to her dream school, NYU Steinhart School of Music, in the fall.
The family also leaves behind three older children, Claire, Emily and John who will need to pick up the pieces and make sense of this tragedy.
As a community, Garden City always looks for ways to help. At this time, the best way to contribute is to donate toward the expenses that the family will face.
