The Madera Group Restaurant Employee Relief Fund
Dear Guests and Friends,
As many of you know, we made the difficult decision to transition our restaurants, Toca Madera & Tocaya Organica, to takeout and delivery only in response to the global health crisis surrounding COVID-19. The past couple of weeks have been some of the most trying for our organization and the hospitality industry at large. Almost all restaurants have been faced with incredibly difficult circumstances, and in our case, nearly 900 team members have been impacted.
Many of you have graciously reached out asking how you can help our employees directly. In response, we created this page in an effort to raise awareness and funds in which 100% of the donations will go directly to those team members who are no longer able to earn a living because of the effects of this pandemic. This includes our wonderful chefs, cashiers, bartenders, servers, bussers, cooks, managers, and several other support staff. These donations will be made via our foundation, Tocaya Life which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and may be tax-deductible.
We are incredibly grateful for your consideration and the generosity you have already shown in your support of our restaurants.
