In response to the passing of Mackenzie Gentry, the Hargrave High School Class of 2014 has decided to memorialize Mackenzie by starting the Mackenzie Gentry Memorial Scholarship.

The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize young female leaders and assist them in furthering their impact in the community. 

The goal of the the fund is to provide at least one scholarship of at least $500 to a student graduating from Hargrave High School. Depending on the response from the community and ongoing support, the committee will issue larger and/or multiple scholarships and continue proving scholarships annually. 

The committee values the support we receive in memorializing our friend, and will also value transparency in communicating the intentions of the funds as the fund grows with your support.
