Dr. Kathy Wentworth was Mac's first vet. When Dr. Wentworth moved clinics, we briefly lost touch with her. After an arduous search, we found her again. Throughout Mac's life he followed her from a new clinic, to a trailer, and eventually to Dr, Wentworth's very own clinic, The PetPoint Medical Center & Resort in Irvine.
Dr. Wentworth has always demonstrated kindness and compassion. Mac looked forward to his visits, and he was even rather popular with the staff. When we learned the news of Mac's cancer last November, Dr. Wentworth shared in our deep sense of sadness. From that point forward, she did everything possible to get Mac excellent oncological care, and she always made time to help us through late night desperate text messages and last-minute appointments. Together, with Dr. Wentworth and her team at PetPoint, we were able to give Mac an outstanding quality of life until his final day.
Mac was so blessed for the care he received. It's not lost upon us that in these tumultuous times that this level of care could be just out of reach of a pet parent. We created this site, so people can make small donations to help furry friends in need, and in doing so let the memory of Mac live on in others.
100% of proceed will be donated to PetPoint to help others who need a hand with their veterinary bills.
