The Luby Family Needs Our Help

Hello family and friends of the Luby family, it is with a saddened heart that I have created this Go Fund me account. About 3 weeks ago I got the worst text from Michelle, Erik was diagnosed with Cancer in his right kidney and it has possibly masatised to his lungs. They can see spots in his lungs on his scans, but wanted to get the big things handled first. Since the dr was so worried that it has possibly spread to his lungs already, they went into quick action to remove his right kidney. This last Thursday, May 24th Erik underwent a nephrectomy of the right kidney. Erik is the sole provider for their family, and with this diagnosis and surgery he will have to be out of work for an undetermined amount of time. Between the costs of the surgery, travel, and just life in general they need our help more now then ever. This family is truely one of a kind, and has never hesitated to help out when help is needed. Just one example of how amazing this family is, during the Lilac Fire we were evacuated from our home, we had nothing! Michele, without hesitation ran out to the store and came to our hotel with a bag full of things to get us by. If you have been touched by this family in anyway, now is the time to show them how much we appreciate their kindness by returning the favor.
