We are absolutely heartbroken to share the sudden loss of Lewis Kent, aged just 29, with his 30th birthday only two weeks away. Taken far too soon, Lewis was a truly loving soul who could put a smile on anyone’s face. He was the life of the party, always bringing laughter, warmth, and light wherever he went.

Lewis was incredibly family-oriented—his family meant everything to him. He cherished every moment spent with his mum, brothers, and sisters, as well as the many close friends who were lucky enough to know him.

He had a love for life and many hobbies, from walking and hiking to fishing for carp. He was a passionate football fan, especially devoted to Manchester United, and he loved all kinds of music. And if we’re being honest, he also had a real soft spot for a good takeaway.

At this time, the cause of Lewis’s passing is not yet known. As close friends, we want to come together to support his wonderful mum and family, and to help make the funeral arrangements as smooth and stress-free as possible during this incredibly difficult time.

No parent should ever have to bury their child.
