Hello, my name is Lyssa and I never in my entire life thought I would have to do something like this but I need to put my pride to the side and do what’s best for my family.

I do NOT ask for help; I'm always the one to help others and never ask or expect anything in return. This is a trait I learned from the woman herself, my grandma. Unfortunately, this was a very unexpected turn of events that started with a doctor's appointment, turned to a broken leg, surgery, ICU, and now hospice. My grandmother has touched so many lives far and wide (literally). If you've had the pleasure to meet her, you know she is the sweetest and most beautiful human ever. She has taught me so much in life and in return, I'd like to honor her with a proper funeral. As we know, dying is hard enough, but unexpectedly and without insurance, it's making her death that much harder. I'd prefer to be using this time grieving, and instead, I find myself in tears over the stress of funding a funeral. We're not fancy people, but we're very respectful and would love nothing more than to show a true pillar of our family how much we and YOU respect her and wish her peace in the afterlife. I could write on forever about my OG Grammy, but I'll leave you with the cliff notes. THANK YOU SO MUCH from the bottom of my heart for all of the love and well wishes to my grandma and family. ❤️

Update- 6/6/2025 at 1pm my grandmother took her last breath surrounded by people who love her the absolute most. A pure devastation felt by all. Thank you to everyone who has already donated and thank you to anyone who has shared, liked or will donate. My family and I appreciate you. Much love ❤️
