Hello Everyone. My name is Lorraine Turner and I created this GoFundMe for my brother Joseph Turner.

As you all may know, Joe was called home to be with the Lord on Friday (April 17, 2026) at 6:44PM. This has all been a shock to my family and myself. We are still trying to process all of this during this time.

My brother Joe was such a bright light. He made everybody laugh and smile whenever he walked into a room. Y’all definitely know because of all of the videos he posted on social media lol. He wanted people to be happy and he tried to help anyone in anyway he could. He loved everybody and wanted people to show the same love. When it came to basketball, y’all could not stop him from playing, coaching, or watching the sport. He wanted to go to the NBA and I’m sure it will always remain his dream. When it came to the Commanders, he was the head coach for them too lol He just knew that they needed to tighten up. He always joked with my sister Tiffanie and you know me and him had them dancing videos on point.

My family and myself will miss him dearly and we know all of the lives he touched will miss him too. Thank you all for the continued support and love through this tough time. Your prayers and love do not go unnoticed. As you all know, this was unexpected and we want to make sure we lay him to rest the best way we can.
