The Lott Children Memorial Fund for Joshua Lott

Some of you may not know me, my name is Melissa Carrier. Joshua and his wife Dana Lott and their children; Austin, Avery & Addi Lott are the most amazing and tight-knit family I've ever been witness to and lucky enough to be a part of. Dana is my sister and best friend. Joshua was a brother to us. His father and mother, Mark and Mary Lott as well as his brothers; Nate, Seth and Aaron Lott, their wives and their children are also grieving this terrible loss of their son, brother and uncle.

Joshua suddenly and tragically passed away on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022. In his wake, he leaves behind a loving and adoring wife of 24 years and three children; Austin, Avery & Addi. They are left to survive now without him. Dana is now left alone with three children, two of which are still needing to get through college at only 11 and 19 years old. Avery is currently a Freshmen at Madonna University with three more years left to graduate. He hopes to graduate and start a career in supply chain management. Addi is in 6th grade and wants to go to college and start a career in interior design. Austin, the oldest child, although still so young, began a commendable career in carpentry and construction alongside his father, Josh. He never misses a day of work!

With losing Josh, the number of responsibilities that Dana has on her shoulders are not lessened, they have only grown. However, the resources to meet the responsibilities of their home and their children have drastically changed.

We have set up this GoFundMe in the name of The Lott Children Memorial Fund to help pay for their education and needs moving forward without their father. Without this level of support, the children's hopes of obtaining their dreams will be a profound struggle.

Please rest assured that no funds are funneled through myself or anyone else. This has been set up for all donations to be directly deposited into the Memorial Fund bank account. This account is in Dana and her children's names only.

All funds donated through this GoFundMe are going directly into The Lott Children Memorial Fund bank account through MSUFCU. You can donate several ways, whichever you're most comfortable with. You can either:

2. Write a check to "The Lott Children Memorial Fund" and mail it to MSUFCU at 16861 Marsh Rd, Haslett, MI 48840 for deposit into "The Lott Children Memorial Fund" (note on your check the last three digits of the account for deposit as 593)

3. If you bank at MSUFCU, you can make a transfer into the memorial fund account directly.

With all the love in their hearts, I know they are thankful for any help you can offer their family during this terrible and difficult time. There are many years ahead of them to get through without their daddy and for Dana to support them through those years without her husband.
