After seeing all the devastation on Maui, I signed up to travel to help with relief efforts for those who don't have clear direction of where their life , I have been praying to find a direction in which I can help the community with my gifting. I am an event coordinator and have experience with the coordination of funerals. I watched the news tonight and saw a woman who lost everything! She said she doesn't even have money to pay for a funeral for her loved one. I decided that this is what God has directed me to do. So, Lord willing, I can fundraise costs to help cover the costs of finding closure for their families and friends. Will you join me in this effort to fundraise for the Maui community? I will be partnering with local churches to offer my services as a volunteer to coordinate funerals and pay for the costs. I am leaving for Maui on Monday, August 28, with a one-way ticket, praying that God will tell me when my job is finished, and I will come home. Aloha!!

Red Cross- can qualify for up to $2500 plus airfare for a few family members to come for the services. DNA samples required.
FEMA - offered to reimburse certain funeral costs, casket or cremation. Reimbursements are if qualified & death certificate required
