The Loss of Tori Ramsey, Grieving a tragic loss.

Hello, there. My name Stephany Brown, and we are fundraising for my friend Lynn Ramsey and her family.
On January 15, 2022, Tori Ramsey, Lynn’s daughter, would take her final breath in the early morning hours, leaving behind her fiancé, Daniel, Mother (Lynn Ramsey) and sister(Bree).
Tori was admitted to St. Paul’s hospital in mid-December due to declining lung health caused the devastating disease of cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an inherited disease in which the body makes very thick, sticky mucus, and the mucus causes problems in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. People with cystic fibrosis (SIS-tik fye-BROH-sis) get lung infections, often resulting in death.
While in hospital, Tori’s health declined rapidly. Tori needed to be intubated, as the CO2 was building in her blood. They needed to find the source of infection. For 13 days and nights, both Lynn and Daniel took turns being by Tori's side while she fought hard to survive. While intubated, Tori developed bleeding in the lungs. The family was called in to be by her side. However, Tori pulled through as she always did, even coming off the machines and no longer needed intubation. Tori could again breathe on her own. The road to recovery was promising. Daniel, her fiancé, the love of her life, had his girl's back! Lynn had her beautiful daughter once again. The family was overwhelmed with happiness.
A week passed by and Tori was doing better. She would have a long road ahead of her in terms of healing and getting back her strength, but the doctors were hopeful of her recovery.
Unfortunately, a week after waking, Tori would start taking a turn for the worse. Tori would begin to tire as she drew closer to her final days.
On January 15, 2022, Tori Ramsey, Lynn’s daughter, would take her final breath in the early morning hours. Lynn would hold her daughter's hand one last time as the doctors turned off the machines and Lynn's once whole heart would now become shattered beyond repair.
Tori’s passing has left Lynn, Daniel, family and friends shocked, lost and heartbroken.
Lynn Ramsey has always been there for all of her friends, no matter what! Lynn is always the first one there for anyone in need. I can personally attest to this devotion and compassion when my mom passed from lung cancer a year and a half ago. Lynn allowed me the space to grieve with my family and took care of my business as if it was her own. I am forever grateful for her. I know I am not alone in feeling this way about Lynn. Now it’s our turn to be there for her.
Our goal is to raise over 10,000 to help Lynn and her family during this profoundly devastating time. The money raised will assist Lynn and her family with lost wages, healing, therapy, funeral costs and all other unexpected expenditures.
Thank you to everyone who has sent prayers and love to the family.
With love
