Hi everyone, today is my birthday, but it’s not the same this year. I am deeply saddened to say that we’ve lost Renee Yates suddenly two days ago, December 6, 2021. She was in the room when I was born, supported me through every season, and was like a second mother to me. She marked my life and many others in profound ways. We’ll never be the same without her. Renee had the innate ability to see the best and bring the best out of others.
