TW: Child-loss & Infant Death

On 24th March this year, Chloe and Lewis welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Clay, into the world. From the very first moment they held him, they experienced a love beyond words - the kind of love only a parent can know.

After spending nine months wondering who he would become, they imagined a lifetime of memories and adventure ahead. Tragically, that future was taken from them far too soon.

At just seven and a half weeks old, Clay passed away peacefully whilst asleep.

Although his life was heartbreakingly short, Clay knew nothing but pure love, warmth, comfort, and adoration every single day. He was cherished deeply by his parents, family, and friends, and brought so much joy into the lives of everyone who met him.

No parent should ever have to face the unimaginable pain Chloe and Lewis are now living through. Instead of planning their little boy’s future and celebrating his milestones, they are having to prepare a ceremony to hold their final goodbye to Clay.

Anyone who knows Chloe and Lewis knows how kind, loving, and selfless they are. Even in the midst of such devastating grief, they would never ask for help themselves. But during a time like this, the last thing any family should have to worry about is financial pressure. Clay deserves the most beautiful day possible - one that reflects just how loved and precious he is.
