I work with Cassy on the mom/baby unit at St. Elizabeth. I am doing this fundraiser to assist with the cost of funeral expenses, financial burdens and to allow her time off from work to grieve her sweet momma. 

Linda Raabe lost her courageous battle against endometrial cancer and chronic leukemia. 

Cassy, her only child,  poured every ounce of her soul into making sure Linda was taken care of in the best ways anyone could imagine. She constantly worried over her and did everything possible to put her mother before herself to make sure she was always happy and comfortable. 

On 2/11/20, Linda’s health began to decline.  In a race against time, Cassy decided to marry the love of her life, Kevin, in the presence of her momma. In less than 24 hours, she planned her wedding and at 6 pm that very evening, she married Kevin surrounded by friends and family that love them at her sweet momma’s bedside at the hospice center. 

Just 5 hours and 39 minutes later, Linda went to be with the Lord. 

I was blessed and honored to be at their wedding and to meet Linda before she left this earth. Cassy had her looking absolutely gorgeous. She wore pearls and had her makeup on just like she would have wanted.  A corsage with red roses. Her nails and toes were painted red. She was so beautiful in every way and looked peaceful. 

Please help Cassy lay her momma to rest and to grieve the loss of her in this world.
