Today, November 19, 2018, it is with great sorrow to report that the daughter of Gabriela Perez, Isabel Elenes; a 19-year-oldfrom Phoenix, Arizona, was positively identified this afternoon after a fatal car accident near Indio, California.  With so much aspiration for the future, she was in route to see her mother for the weekend to celebrate with her the incredible news that she was going to graduate as a Medical Assistant on December 1, 2018.  Just shortly after celebrating her 19 birthday on November 9th, she was filled with great joy due to so much progress in her life since she was not only gaining experience in her field in a nearby clinic, but also having received her first paycheck as an independent young lady, and purchasing a vehicle for herself.  Tragically, it was in that new vehicle that her body was discovered, after she had set her eyes on driving to California to share that joy with her mother knowing it would make her proud.  

The family is not only heartbroken but completely desperate since there is no monetary means possible to be able to transport her body from California to bury her in Arizona.  Please, join us in sharing a contribution in order to help Gabriela Perez and her family to be able to say goodbye to their daughter in a dignified yet humbling way. 

 

Hoy, 19 de noviembre de 2018, es lamentable informar que la hija de Gabriela Pérez, Isabel Elenes; una joven de 19 años de Phoenix, Arizona, fue identificada positivamente esta tarde después de un fatal accidente automovilístico en Indio, California. Con tantas aspiraciones para el futuro, estaba en camino a ver a su madre durante el fin de semana para celebrar con ella las increíbles noticias de que se graduaría como asistente médico el 1 de diciembre de 2018. Poco después de celebrar su cumpleaños de 19 años en noviembre noveno, se llenó de gran alegría debido al gran progreso en su vida ya que no solo estaba adquiriendo experiencia en una clínica cercana, sino que también recibió su primer cheque de pago como joven independiente y se había comprado un vehículo. Trágicamente, fue en ese nuevo vehículo en el que se descubrió su cuerpo, después de haber puesto sus ojos en conducir a California para compartir esa alegría con su madre, sabiendo que eso la enorgullecería.

La familia no solo tiene el corazón roto, sino que estáncompletamente desesperados, ya que no hay medios monetarios posibles para poder transportar su cuerpo desde California para enterrarla en Arizona.
