We are Alex and Pepe, owners of the fairly new restaurant Carnitas Lonja located on the border of Southtown and Southside, San Antonio Texas.
We acquired our Certification of Occupancy from the City three months ago and opened as soon as we got the green light from the city, or so we thought. After a couple months of being in the business and a story on the local news, we got into the spotlight of the community and the city decided to pay us a visit. After a short inspection and no real explanation, they decided to shut us down arguing our CFO was not valid.
And now after all our work, sweat and money spent we are left with a bunch of exaggerated obligated renovations and fees that we never accounted for.
We would use this money to comply with all this new set of arrangements with the city in order to keep our dream of making the best carnitas of San Antonio alive.
P.S. Once we are back on track we would like to offer a Carnitas Lonja party to all of our community and the donors to show the appreciation of the help we have been received.
