On Friday, July 18th, Ryan was involved in a motorcycle accident where he was run over by two separate vehicles. He was air lifted to HSC in Winnipeg, MB with major injuries to his lower body. These injuries included both legs being severely broken, a broken femur, fractured tailbone, and road rash all over his body.

Ryan will undergo multiple surgeries to fix the damage caused by the accident. He has gone under one surgery so far on his left leg but he is waiting for his first surgery on his right leg as the doctors are not sure how to proceed as the damage to his right leg is extensive.

Once healed from these surgeries, he will begin physiotherapy at some point but recovery time is unknown at this time.

Despite everything he has endured, Ryan still has his sense of humour and overall has a good spirit.

While Ryan is in the hospital recovering, his wife and family will be back and forth from Winnipeg to be with him. The cost of travelling, taking time off work as well as every day costs (mortgage, bills etc) adds up so we are asking the community to help relieve the financial burden so Ryan and his family can just focus on him healing and getting him home.
