The Loading Dock Employees!

After almost a full six years in our sweet little home on Lindell Ave, The Loading Dock is embarking on a new adventure. Our time in this building is coming to a close - our last day open here will be April 30th. But do not worry! We are NOT closing down for good.

The truth of the matter is, the survival of The Loading Dock is all thanks to the customers and our wonderful employees. Without your loyal business, The Loading Dock would never have become the wonderful community that it is today. Due to some unexpected circumstances, we have to relocate. Despite the sadness we feel about this, we are hoping it will bring exciting new opportunities to grow as a community. The thing is, we can’t do it alone.

As many of you know, we are lucky enough to have an extremely loyal and amazing group of individuals working here. Some of us are students, others musicians, and others just love steaming milk…no but really. Our staff loves The Loading Dock like a second home. As excited as we are about the relocation, the transition is going to be financially difficult on us all. We don’t know yet how long we will be closed, though we hope we can reopen as quickly as possible.

So here is where our little GoFundMe comes in. While we are hoping that relocating will only take a week, we really don't know how long we are going to be out of work. All of us want to keep our jobs at The Loading Dock, but we also need to pay the bills. Whatever you can donate to help keep us baristas afloat for the transition period is GREATLY appreciated!
