The Living Memorial is situated on a 20 acre field in Rettendon, Essex and was set up in 2009 in memory of many service personnel who sadly have died during conflict and those who currently serve.

The Living Memorial known as operation SweetPea is a place of peace and tranquility with many picnic beaches, beautiful surroundings, plaques and museums full of memorabilia which we encourage those to visit to remember those who have sadly lost their lives.

Every war has been included from past to present, and now including the police and the fire service. We feel being surrounded by nature will come some way to help heal those who have lost a loved one.
