On July 4, a senseless point of rage took the life of a beloved man, brother, EMT and father figure to children. Despite not being biologically related. Their bond was unbreakable — the kind of love and guidance that doesn't rely on DNA but on heart, time, and shared life.

This sudden loss has devastated the children he left behind, who is now left without the emotional, financial, and daily support of the man they called papa. The crash is still under investigation, and we are left with more questions than answers.

But what is clear is that they now face an uncertain future without the person who helped raise and protect them.
