The Living Earth Initiative fosters a change in the resistance toward human-driven climate acceleration, by humanizing Earth's natural biological and geological processes, and by applying specific human-centric principles such as empathy, ethics, morality, compassion, and medical care to the environment and planet. The result is a shift from the current paradigm into a positive narrative that recognizes our planet as a living being worthy of value. By emphasizing Earth’s constant change as a function of the natural aging process we aim to foster responsible human-planet relationships in our micro-, meso-, and macro-level economic and social activities. We achieve this through interactive education outreach and immersion in some of the world’s most storied and changing places.

The driving force of this change, and what makes Living Earth so special, is that we provide access to the world’s most transformational, exquisite, and remote locations and experiences- typically reserved for the financially privileged- to high school seniors from diverse backgrounds. We take them and put them in parts of the world that most humans will never see. The places that are most vulnerable to human activities, like Antarctica, the Galapagos, and the magnificent coral reef ecosystems of Bali.

This non-traditional “Study Abroad” experience has established partnerships with some of the world’s most environmentally concerned cruise lines, whose hybrid ships have been specifically designed to mimic the efficiency of an orca and operate with a reduced carbon output- less than half of what is produced by other vessels of their size. We have some of the best expedition guides and lecturers in the world on our team to provide the most unique, enriching, life-changing experience possible.
