On February 26th, 2020 Melissa Manson passed peacefully at our family home in Garner. For the last few years missy fought a hard battle with her health. To many, we remember that fiery-sassy woman who lit up the room when she walked in it. But to few we saw the heartache and pain that came with a lung disease that had no mercy. As hard as we fought to find the right doctors and the right plan to get our missy back, God had a plan that was bigger than our understanding. Her Mother Heather became her number 1 caregiver. Taking Missy to multiple appointments a week as well as her own. Selflessly spending many nights and days at the hospital praying to just bring her baby home. This has shocked us all.. Missy has pulled through years of doctors, medication and close calls. We believe God said enough. She was fighting so hard to get her life back and resume the role of motherhood. A role she was effortlessly good at. One she was extremely proud of and broke her heart when her health stole that opportunity. She never gave up hope! She had a warriors spirit. One of the strongest women I know. We have been truly blessed with the amount of love and support we have received. We humbly ask if you feel it in your heart to help with funeral expenses and other bills she has left behind as well as some support for her son Beckham we would be forever grateful. Melissa, you were an amazing woman who left marks on so many hearts. May you watch over us and know just how special you were to soo many. Love you always sis!
