In Remembrance of Dawn Boyd

As many of you already know my mom was called home after her long fought battle with COPD. I’m making this to somewhat alleviate some of the financial stress this situation has put on our family and I’ll leave it at that. I’m sure friends, family, and her peers will agree she was always one of the strongest fighters you’ll ever meet and especially towards the end of her life made sure everyone else around her didn’t worry about her condition while shining a light of hope for others. Everyone that knew

my mom for any duration of time knew shewas such a free spirit with an abundance of love for family and her friends(even her new friends she made through her support group.) There’s no amount of words that could describe her personality to a tee but if it were a single one I would say LOVE, because the more she progressed that’s all she wanted was love, her kids, her grandkids, her husband, and everyone just to be around each other to share the experience of love. At such a young age my mom lived such a full life for such a short timeframe it seems, she could’ve written many novels of life experiences and then some on top of that. Besides her family I would say one of her greatest joys in life as of recent would be her COPD support group she created, she spent countless hours and days trying to help people suffering with knowledge and advice on how to cope with their diagnosis and symptoms. I’m hoping she’s smiling down right now and breathing free, she’s finally free of the burdens of this world and take a deep breath and relax. I wasn’t sure how to word this so I’ve done the best I can in this short timeframe of confusion and pain.
