It is with a VERY heavy heart that I announce this fundraiser—The Life of Dylan Slyker. In the middle-of-the-night morning hours of March 1st, 2025, Dylan took his own life. Dylan was a wonderful young man: driven, smart, compassionate, understanding, hardworking, and loved by all around him. Life will never be the same without Dylan. I loved him, as did so many others.

Dylan was a born resident of Alaska, which creates an incredibly unfortunate financial burden on his family and loved ones to give all of this the proper care and attention that’s needed. Our goal here is to raise as much money for his family as we possibly can to help alleviate some of that pressure. This will never get any easier or better, for them or for any of us, but the very least we can do is help take care of the financials that are required to handle a situation such as this.

This only touches on a larger issue within our society, Men’s Mental Health, and this will only be the beginning of what we can do for Dylan, and what Dylan will continue to do for this world. Dylan, we love you. We miss you. You will forever be at the forefront of our minds, our day to day.
