If you knew Skip, you knew my dad, & if you knew my dad — you knew he loved me so much as his first born daughter just as well as he loved his two sons, my brothers

I’m his first born and only daughter, followed by Barron & Garfield Andelin-Beckstead, my two younger brothers. He also taught my incredible little sister, Meryl Tyjenski-Andelin, how to ride a bike and write left handed and tie her shoes. (Both lefties.)

Our father was a vibrant spirit with such artistic talent. He did struggle with mental illness but his passing was simply the result of an unfortunate accident. As a family, we hold absolutely no ill will against the driver involved and we exercise only forgiveness.
