My name is Mikala. I set up this go fund me for our family. If you don't already know my fiance Patrick Lewallen was admitted to the hospital on Sat. Sept 10th for an emergency surgery. His colon had ruptured from Diverticulitis & caused a major infection in his abdomen from the leakage. He's still in the ICU fighting the infection & swelling until DRs can eventually close him up. Due to these circumstances he is unable to work & we do not have a time frame of when he will be fully recovered. The medical bills are one problem but for now we are just hoping for a little help with rent & household bills. He & I have 3 amazing kids together that we support together. We've had tons of friends & family reaching out & feel thankful for the love & prayers. Normally I'm to stubborn to ask for help but as of right now we really need it.
