The Leonardo's out of homelessness, into a permanent home!!!

This is Ethan, Paulie,Mia and Abbie. With their parents Kellie and Paul, plus some fur children, they lost their house in a devastating fire just over a year ago in May 2023. They have been living in hotels ever since that day, paying for it themselves. Since Sunday, June 16th, they've been homeless, living in a tent in the backyard of their burnt out, waterlogged house they'll never be able to live inside again with record high temperatures and humidity. This isn't good for anyone, mind you their special needs son, Paulie, reliant on a feeding tube that needs to be plugged in. It was thought there was insurance on the house. Sadly, there wasn't. I met Kellie at Stop and Shop almost 26 years ago and became an immediate best friend. Her family became my family - anyone that knows her and her family knows the compassion, empathy, kindness, humor, friendship they all have. They'll drop anything for you if you need help. I no words the love this family has shown me, my family over the years and to others. This hasn't stopped in the 13 months since the fire. Resilience is an understatement!!!! They need help to get back on their feet, out of their yard, into a safe environment, to cover expenses, into a home and stability. Any amount would be great and appreciated. Feel free to share.
