On July 26 ,2024 a very unfortunate swimming accident occurred that led to our dear friend Millar suffering a significant spinal cord injury. Millar was airlifted to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto for emergency surgery. We are so thankful to the team at Sunnybrook Hospital for their amazing intervention. This is a life changing injury, that will come along with many needs. Everyone is so thankful for the love and support being shared.

Millar is at the start of his recovery journey, but we know his recovery will be long and challenging. Supports will help ensure he and his family can focus on recovery. The full extent of his needs are still unknown, but we know there will be a significant financial impact. Currently financial support will help Millar and his family cover associated costs of being in hospital (transportation, lodging, and loss of wages, etc).
