On Wednesday evening, my brother Stephen, his wife, and their four young children were walking home from the park when tragedy struck. A vehicle hit Stephen and his 3-year-old son from behind. By the grace of God, his little boy escaped with only scratches and bruises—but Stephen was not so fortunate.

Stephen sustained severe injuries resulting in emergency brain surgery. He now faces a long road to recovery, including extended hospitalization, physical therapy, chiropractic care, and trauma counseling—not just for himself, but for his entire family, who fortunately made it out of the way safely, but still had to witness this terrifying event.

Stephen is currently the sole financial provider for his family. His wife homeschools their four children and cares for them full-time. With Stephen now unable to work for the foreseeable future, they will be facing an overwhelming financial burden.
