The Legacy Of Therese Noel: A Faith-Led Life

Donation protected
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Therese Noel who went to sleep in the arms of the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2022, until His soon return.

“Mom” or “Auntie Therese” as we called her, was a powerful woman of God, who dedicated her life to Him and to His service. She was blessed with a plethora of gifts and talents, from music to mentorship to service. Mom specifically used her unique, God-given abilities to touch the lives of many young people whom she mentored and instructed. She unselfishly welcomed many of them into our home, where she not only helped to instill values of professionalism and discipline within them, but also demonstrated the love and compassion of Jesus to them.

In following the legacy of her parents, my mom utilized our home as a place of respite and rehabilitation for individuals who were in desperate need of support. Through her untiring efforts to care for the needy, I have witnessed numerous lives change for the better. My mom not only provided care and support to those in need here at home, but she extended her services abroad as she obeyed God’s call to conduct similar missionary endeavors in the Dominican Republic (DR). She purchased a property in DR to again create a house of respite and rehabilitation for Haitians suffering immense challenges in the country.

My mom has also poured in a significant amount of her resources to her home church, Hempstead SDA church, to help secure a house of worship for this local church community. Her contribution to this important cause was paramount as this project was near and dear to her heart.

With her passing comes a huge void as we are grappling with the loss of a spiritual and philanthropic giant of our community. As you can imagine, we are also experiencing considerable financial constraints; many of which include: (1) keeping our home in our possession to continue the great work of rehabilitative services to others as she has, (2) funding the
home abroad in DR to continue to serve Haitians in dire need of help, and (3) ensuring her vision to restore her home church reaches fulfillment.

My family and I need your help to uphold her incredible legacy of service. We have started this gofundme campaign to raise money to cover these expenses.

We would really appreciate your donation. We are humbled by your consideration regarding this crucial matter. I am eternally grateful for all of the thoughtful words and unwavering support my family and I have received during this difficult time.

Thank you so much!

Yours truly,
