The Lazzara Family
Donation protected
I started this GoFundMe for my friend Joyce in her name. The donations will go straight to her and her kids.
Sal was diagnosed on November 24, 2018 with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. It’s with deep sadness that the we announce Sal passed away on a March 21, 2019. He will be missed but his memory will live forever.
Sal and Joyce were married for 17 years. They had 3 children together, Marrissa, Gianna, and Joey.
Sal wasalso a combat veteran and served in the army for 16 years.
With all the emotional pain and stress that death brings we want to ease that stress a little with financial help. In times like these it is so difficult but more so when you have a child with extra needs. It is going to be very hard for Joyce to pay her bills and take care of her children.
We are also asking for meals to be provided to help their family during this difficult time. You can find a calendar and sign up here .

We are thankful for any support you can give to the Lazzara Family.
Thank you! Sarah

I want to thank every single person who has reached out to us and offered love and support. We are so blessed to have such a large and wonderful support system. We are absolutely heartbroken. Sal passed around 4:30 yesterday and was surrounded by so much love the entire time. I cant say thank you enough to everyone who came to love him, the kids and the rest of our family. Cancer is absolutely terrible... he was responding to the chemo but we were made aware it had started to spread to his stomach. He had been complaining recently about having a lot of pain. I am so thankful he is no longer in pain and we all get to remember him as the strong, funny, stubborn bad ass that he was. He went out with five finger death punch being played in his ear.
My heart is absolutely broken. I am receiving all your messages and they are so helpful so please don’t be offended if I don’t reach out right away. If anyone would like to spend time with the kids I’m certain they would welcome the distraction.
