Support for the Latorre Family re: House Fire

Greg and Erica Latorre lost their home due to a a house fire on November 5th in the early morning. The house, their truck, and a large amount of their property is a total loss, as it has all completely burned to the ground.

Living in rural Vermont with limited resources, they have been placed in an extremely difficult situation. The Latorre family did not have insurance, and as a result are taking the entire brunt of financial responsibility for the house.

Erica was air lifted to a specialized burn hospital in Boston due to smoke inhalation. She remains there in the Intensive Care Unit. Greg is currently staying with Abe and Kristina, their son and daughter-in-law, in Maine.

As a close friend of Kristina and Abe, I have started this fundraiser with their permission in order to assist with expenses that Greg and Erica Latorre are incurring as a result of the fire. Expenses include: relocation, medical fees that insurance may not cover, and generally starting over, as all of their personal belongings (clothing, electronics, keepsakes, etc.) are now non-existent.
