Help the Lathan family with funeral costs

Dear friends and colleagues,

As many of you know, Brian Lathan lost his brother this summer. Rickey Lathan was 35 when he passed.

I am organizing this GoFundMe to help the Lathan family with the funeral cost, and also as a gesture of kindness and love to Brian and his family.

Brian is an invaluable part of printmaking at Meramec - he is a great teacher and researcher, a very skilled printmaker, and is incredibly dedicated to his students. We are very lucky to have him in our department.

I hope this fundraiser will help show him that we not only value him as a colleague, but also care about him as a friend.
