The Last Step to Vet School

Hi everyone, Kasey here :)

I've got some big news! I've been given an unconditional offer into vet school!!

More specifically, the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. As many of you know, this has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I'm really excited to officially start on September 8th of this year!

So, after less than a year of having moved back to Canada, working at a vet clinic as an assistant and receptionist, Bobo and I will be moving to Edinburgh, Scotland. It's such an awesome and exciting journey God has me on, and I just love seeing how he continues to open doors in front of me as I walk this path.

There is one last roadblock before I'm granted official acceptance and start making plans to move. That roadblock is the student visa I require for my studies: which is a long and difficult process that requires me to send my passport away for ~3 weeks, undergo extensieve health testing, and provide an insurance payment of $8,000CAD. This payment is required to enter the country and required before they will issue me my visa and will ensure I have health care for the duration of my studiess. I have already saved around $2,000CAD, but I am relying on God to provide this final amount.

The difficult situation I'm finding myself in is that to begin finalizing moving plans, finding a place to live during my time in school, and booking flights, I will need this visa, which I can only receive after the payment has been processed. This is the final step before becoming an official vet school student! It's a big goal, but we serve a big God who I trust has good plans in store. :)
